Full test or Quick test
The Full test takes about 25 seconds. The Quick test takes about 12 seconds and stops each direction early once the rate is steady. A Quick result is labelled as one, so you always know which you ran.
Diagnostix360 measures download and upload throughput, server latency and responsiveness under load. It also puts those numbers beside a separate connection-health check, so your Mbps result is not confused with reliability.
Watch throughput as the test runs. Afterwards see download, upload, ping, jitter and delay while the connection is under load. High delay under load can explain lagging calls or games even when the basic ping looks fine.
The test is optional during a full diagnosis, and can also be run separately from the Speed tab. While it runs you see which server is measuring and its IP address. Completed tests appear in local history with the network name, server and IP.
The server location identifies the test endpoint—not your physical location. Speed results are not included in the connection-health score.
Choose how long to test, see exactly which server measured you, and know whether things changed since last time.

The location and IP address of the test server appear under the dial during the test, in your history and in the Technical report. The location is the test endpoint, not where you are.
Repeat a test and see how download, upload and delay under load changed versus a comparable earlier result. When Android hides the Wi-Fi name, comparison may fall back to the network type.
Before a cellular test, the app shows its measurement-data budget: up to 170 MiB for Full or 55 MiB for Quick. Carrier-billed usage can be slightly higher due to network overhead. If Wi-Fi disconnects, the test stops instead of switching to mobile data.
Test in the same spot, on the same Wi-Fi band or mobile connection, and compare at similar times.
When loaded delay grows sharply, busy downloads or backups may affect interactive traffic.
Speed testing transfers real data. On a limited plan, prefer the Quick test and avoid repeating tests back to back.
