Data Protection Summary
| Data or activity | Why it is used | Where it is handled | Your control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic measurements and history | Calculate results, findings, confidence and comparisons | On your Android device | Run deliberately; clear local data or uninstall |
| Wi-Fi/mobile/network identity | Understand the active path and evidence | On device; detailed identifiers can appear in the Technical report | Android permissions; use the Customer report when detailed identity is unnecessary |
| Approximate location | Android Wi-Fi requirements and technical diagnostic context where available | On device; may appear in the Technical report and therefore in a file you choose to share | Android location permission; preview Technical reports before sharing |
| Diagnostic / monitor probes | Measure response, reliability, name lookup, routes and service setup | Sent to network gateway/resolver and selected third-party targets | Start/stop testing and choose the active connection |
| Customer / Technical report | Provide a simple summary or advanced evidence package | Both are generated locally after a completed full diagnosis; Technical can contain sensitive diagnostic identifiers | Prefer Customer for ordinary sharing; preview Technical and confirm the recipient before sharing |
| Internet Monitor | Observe intermittent availability for a selected duration | Local foreground monitoring and local history | User starts/stops it |
| Local Devices / Full scan | Best-effort discovery on an authorised local Wi-Fi network | Local network and app-private storage | User starts the scan; separate from diagnosis |
| Support/crash export | Help investigate an app problem | Created locally; passed to your email/share app only after your action | Review/edit/cancel before sending |
| Website request/security data | Deliver and protect the website | Hosting/security provider | Browser/network controls; no Diagnostix360 behavioural analytics on the current site |
“On device” does not mean no network traffic: the tests themselves must contact their targets. A report or support file you choose to send is no longer local-only after you share it.
Your main controls
- Nothing diagnoses, monitors or scans local devices merely because the app opens.
- Choose the active connection and explicitly start the feature.
- Grant or revoke Android permissions.
- Preview the generated file before sharing; the app requires acknowledgement before selected sensitive reports are shared.
- Prefer the Customer report when full technical identity is unnecessary.
- Use local deletion/app-data controls when you no longer need saved evidence.
- Do not send passwords, tokens, payment data or unrelated private files to support.
Report privacy
The Customer report is deliberately simplified and excludes sensitive technical identifiers. The Technical report is the full evidence package and can contain public/local IP addresses, network names, ISP/ASN, configured DNS addresses, approximate location, nearby Wi-Fi information, device/mobile details, traceroute hop addresses and exact timestamps when available. Per-application traffic analytics and app-name lists are not included in the current production report build. Preview Technical reports and share them only with a trusted recipient who needs that level of evidence.
Support exports
Privacy-filtered support/crash files are not sent automatically. The app creates them locally and hands them to your email/share application only after you choose the send action. The sender address used by your email application may still be visible to support.
Google Play Data safety
The Play Console Data safety form is a separate store declaration and must match the actual production build. This page is a plain-language website summary; the Privacy Policy contains the fuller public disclosure.
No diagnostic-data sale or cloud profile
The current production behavior described here does not sell diagnostic results, upload diagnostic history/PDFs to a Diagnostix360 diagnostic backend or use diagnostics for cross-app advertising profiles.
Use of the Service is also subject to the Terms of Use.
